Hispanomaya classes take place daily, Monday to Friday, from 2:00 to 7:00PM. The school can also accomodate students interested in studying fewer hours. Each day, classes break for half hour, giving students a chance to mingle with teachers and students, and enjoy coffee, tea and a locally prepared snack. Our teachers are experienced and qualified to instruct all levels of Spanish, and interested students can opt to study Mam, the local Mayan dialect. Classes provide a time to study Spanish as well as to learn about local culture and history from the school’s teachers. Students can also take weaving classes with a local family and learn this traditional art in the mornings before classes begin.
